HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCAS!!!

Yesterday was Luke's 2nd birthday! I can't believe it! He's two! We didn't do anything too extravagant, just cake and ice cream with Jared and Camille and their girls (Casey had to work late so they couldn't make it down). It was fun to watch Luke this year. On his first birthday he didn't really know what was going on, but this year he understood more and that made it a lot more fun! He got a Nerf football, Nerf basketball hoop and basketball from Casey and D, Gator Golf from Jared, Camille and the girls, and a bike and some clothes from Lance and me. When Mimi and Papa were here they bought him some shoes (which he was already wearing) and Grandma and Grandpa sent him some money which we are going to use to buy a toy guitar (he usually carries around my hair brush).
I made his birthday cake. I tried my best to make a train cake without an actual cake pan. It turned out okay. It was originally going to be blue and red, but I forgot how hard it is to make red frosting so I added some yellow and made it orange instead. It was a pretty fun birthday and I still can't believe he's two!

Oh, Happy Birthday Luke! Tassia, you did a great job on his cake! I love it! It makes me sad we couldn't be with him on his birthday! :( We'll be there in 29 days though! We're counting the days!

Weird story.. Your blog was suddenly gone from my list of blogs that I follow, so I just thought you hadn't updated in a while. I fixed it, but hopefully that doesn't happen again. It was so weird! Anyways, it looks like you guys had a fun party! Happy Birthday Luke! The cake was awesome, especially since you did it without a train pan!
