Luke used the potty today!!! This past weekend we bought him some Cars underwear and so I decided today we would start our potty training adventure. First thing this morning after he woke up I took him in and sat him on the potty. He sat there for quite some time with nothing happening so I let him get down. I knew he would need to pee and need to pee A LOT. I didn't put a diaper on him in hopes he would feel the sensation of needing to pee and be able to tell me. Well, he felt the sensation alright, but it happened so fast he ended up peeing on the floor before I could even get to him. Boy, did he need to pee! LOL! I couldn't really be mad, after all, I was the one who didn't diaper him. After I got everything cleaned up with my little carpet cleaner, I took him in and sat him on the potty. Once again, he sat there for quite some time, but this time we just stayed there until........he pooped! Happy day! I started to do a little happy dance and he got down from the toilet and started playing his air guitar. It was AWESOME! As the day progressed, he had three more pee accidents outside the toilet, but he peed and pooped again in the potty! This is just the first day so I feel pretty good about that!
Wish me luck as I embark into some seriously unknown territory called "Potty Training!" Here's hoping he's trained before his 3rd birthday...I'll hold my breath. :)

What an adventure! I remember when they were potty training Zack and he pooped on the floor! LOL. Hope that doesn't happen to you. Good luck Tassia, I wish you all the best. :)
Sounds like Luke is doing great! My little nephew (3 1/2 yrs old) wants NOTHING to do with the potty. My brother keeps saying he'll be in diapers when he's 10 years old.YIKES! Keep up the good work!
